"GROOVE ME" POSTER ART CONTEST

Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio has a new musical project called Maximum Balloon. Always a proponent of art and creativity, Dave has invited members of Creative Allies to submit poster designs inspired by the band's new single "Groove Me” for consideration in his "What's Your Maximum" art contest and exhibition.

IMPORTANT CREATIVE DIRECTION
Maximum Balloon is all about fun — living, dancing celebrating — and that should be reflected in your entry. "Groove Me" features guest rapper Theophilus London and has an infectious synth-driven electro hop to it. Check out the track here. Use the track title, lyrics or your own interpretation of the music to create your poster.

We're looking for artwork that can be hung on gallery wall. We encourage original illustrations and abstract thought. Don't be literal or linear and especially don't use balloons! Show us your creativity!

Poster contest winners will be hand-picked by Dave for display at the Maximum Balloon album release party/art exhibit in late September in LA produced by uber-cool art crew "I AM 8 BIT".
