Moogfest  (rhymes with vogue fest) is a new electronic music festival taking place Halloween weekend, October 29-31, in Asheville, NC, hometown of electronic music pioneer Bob Moog. With performances from Thievery Corporation, MGMT, Massive Attack, Jonsi, Big Boi, Caribou and dozens more acts TBA. It's going to be so good it's scary.

We are looking for posters that can become collector's items: inspired works of art that capture the mood of this new festival. Literal is good, abstract is great, and creativity, artistry and understanding the vibe of the festival is a BIG plus. Check out some of the entries from the Big Ears Festival to see strong festival poster work from other designers.

When designing this epic poster, don't be afraid to think outside of the box. In fact, it's encouraged.
Create poster designs that embody the spirit of this electronic music festival.


The only requirements are to use the words "MoogFest 2010" and to leave an inch or two margin at the bottom of the poster art for MoogFest to add their logos. Including artist names in the lineup is encouraged, but not necessary. Note that other acts might be added over the next few weeks! It's a smart move to check the Moogfest site for the latest news.
